From what I have read here, I think I will start with getting better brake pads and a booster.

For the booster I think I will have to go with Alto's, however any suggestions on Brake pads?

The ones I have in my mind are EBC since they are the only ones who seem to have performance brake pads for M800 that I know of?

Get the booster kit done,first. Check the condition of ur disks, pads and the rear drum linings while at it.
Drive it with the booster for a while and feel the difference. If there are wheel lockups often, get better tyres.
If u're still not happy at the end of all this, get those EBC green stuff pads.

If I were you, I would upgrade in the following order -

1) Go in for better break pads.
2) Upgrade the booster.
3) Bigger rotors for the front (you will have to change the callipers also)
4) Rotors all around.

The first option is the cheapest and fastest. Time and money spent will increase as you go up the order.

In my personal opinion upgrading to steel braided hoses is not required for your application.

hey wasn't it me who said that M800 had disc upfront....
@Nitrous : when where for the zinger meal.....

If one actaully has to upgrade his M800 braking from a regular M800 "front disc rear drum with no boost" setup to one with the boosters, what are the specfiic changes/parts that need to be changed/replaced/tweaked.

If I understand Brake boosters right, the boosters use some link with the engine to created a vacumm. what modification is required in this case?

So I was refused a brake booster by popular. "Maruti 800 braking ivvalavu thaan sir!"

Anyways I just got bit by the ICE bug in between and put the braking mod on the back burner.
