Train horn on a car - Is this legal in India?

With tuners in India illegally modifying; transplanting engines and also using high powered lights what if some nut case starts using this in India.

if you get your hands on these, police and the street people will get their hands on you for sure. they will trash you like anything and along with the horn they will blow off your car too.

in india even the pressure horns with 139db are banned forget about the train horn.

Honking on Indian Roads is such a menace and a nut case having such a horn will only make the indian roads much worse and irritable. Ofcourse Cops will have their say to say the least.

I would love to use it on the morons on the highway, who travel at low speeds on the right most lane (& middle of the two lane road), without heeding to the normal horn or blinking of lights

always wanted to have something like this train horn to get the right of way with $%^&&**
cheers:

It would be illegal to use train horn and there could be strong penalty for the same if caught.

well i think the best horn for morons on indian roads are some choice hindi-punjabi words. They always seem to do the trick.

All said and done, lets say you get the horns installed in your car. I can already visualize how your reaction would be when you hit the button .
Am sure the noise will be deafening within the cars cabin.
