WAXOYL Paint Protection

Hi all,

I have booked black coloured Palio Stile 1.6 with B U Bhandari Pune

I was not planning to get any accessories from the dealer.

But I am confused about the Paint protection. The dealer is offering WAXOYL Paint protection for Rs 2950

Please let me know if its any useful.

Or can I get it done from outside accessory shops? Most probably i will be getting all my accessories from Poona Motors

Our resident aesthetics expert - Mr. Rudra Sen - does not recommend any of these dealership-sourced paint protection coatings. It is better to wax your car ever so often instead. Please read his article on caring for your car in our "Advice" section.

The efficacy of paint protection including teflon is doubtful. Better to get a good waxing/polishing done every 4-6 months based on environment (whether your car remains in shade, or is the environment dusty).

I go for 3M car polish every 6 months. It is expensive at Rs.2900.
