Is it possible to fit a Rear Wiper for Getz?

Got a April 2008 Getz Prime 1.1 GLE model, need to fit rear Dicky Wiper as it gets real dirty in rains, is the conversion possible and if yes wot all has to be changed and wot would be the expense like? Plz enlighten guys.

It is possible why not ?

Just be prepared to do away with your gle hatch & atleast 10-15K

Replace the hatch with that of a gls or glx.

The hatch is same on all the varients, its just the rear glass thats diff as the one with the wiper has a hole and am ready to replace the glass but the prob is i cant get the rear wiper motor and wireing except at the Hyundai dealer whos asking for 7k for the morot and 4k for the wireing set. Suggest plz.

It is very much possible.
Try some local dealers.
If not, then you have no option but to go with the hyundai dealers

Removing the rear glass of the Getz is a very tough job..
Will require some very skilled labour else u will end up screwing up the glass....
I feel this mod can be well avoided...

I would differ with you on this statement. The hatch in the model that has the rear wiper has a small hole on top for the wiper washer, a different inner cladding to conceal the wiper motor and of course a different internal design to accommodate the motor. By the time you add up all costs you will realize that it is cheaper to have just sold the car and bought the higher model whose diff is approx 25-30k(showroom price) and you do get a lot more in that.

I did exactly the same thing when I bought my Getz.

This advice is only applicable if you want the wiper to work in the original way via the original stalk on the steering column. I would suggest you reconsider it.
