You Can Do A Lot With This Sweetheart...

I Ride It As Much As 150 KmPh...

Modded Personally...

CottonField Air Filter + Free Flow Exhaust...

Iradium Tipped Spark Plugs + A Little Bit Of This & That...

This Car Should Not Be Written Off As You Can Do A Lot With It...

Shall We Call It A Play Toy...

I Know...None Of You Talk The Maruti 800 But At Some Point I Am Sure You All Drove It...

Love To Have Your View On It...

Can you specify a bit more about the mods. Is your versoin MPFi or the carb version ?

Hi BooBoo, yes, it's a nice car - looks like yours is a DX with the 12-valve head & 5-speed gearbox. It was the first car I bought, lots of memories there :)

I think this engine puts out around 45 BHP & now does duty in the Alto. Pity, the current M800 is offered only with the 6-valve 37 BHP motor. I would suggest that you get fatter tires & tone down the stickering a tad.

Don't mind my asking this to you, but you do 150 kmph on those skinny, stock tyres do you?

The 800 is a great car, more so the 5speed version. But i feel the stickering is a tad overdone, but, to each his own.

Btw, Can u pls tell me what the Heck is a Cottonfield airfilter! And how did u get the entire field in there??:uncontrol

agree:. K&N cotton field and Pete's?

Also get rid of those fog's which are mounted on the bonnet. Looks very wierd and wacky.

BTW, what is this cottonfield filter? I've never heard of it so please share the info.

I dont think Zappo has doubts about the car reaching 150 kmph...
Its the stopping that hes worried about..

Lose those tacky stickers and the two aux lamps that peek out of the hood. In it's present avatar it won't look out of place in the Weird & Whacky thread.

Er.. and what does it intercept?
J/k :)

Shouldnt this thread be under a different topic? :D

Modded A Little Bit...

CottonField Air Filter
Free Flow Exhaust
Iradium Tipped Spark Plugs
Alto Spec Tyres 145/70/R12
Retuned The MPFI
Synthitic Oil Lubrication

Srini... Thank You. Yes The Car Is 45BHP & Does Quite Well.

Zappo...Yes Doing 150KMPH Flat On Those Skinny Tyres.

JayD...Filter Is Green Cotton Brand. As Good As K&N.

DanLaLan...Do Not Underestimate This Punny Car. The Car Does Not Need A Slope For What It Does. The Magic Of Wining Lies In The Man & Machine Combo.

The Looks Imitate A Rally Car Of The 80's...That Was My Era. A Bit Whacky Looking By Today's Standards But My Pride...

AFAIK, 800's stock tyre is 145/70 and Alto is 145/80 R12. Just FYI :)

Damn! For a minute I thought someone plonked in the Interceptor's engine into the Maruti 800 :D...and then I realized that the 800 made by Suzuki is the Intruder and not the Interceptor.

I'm telling you these Safari chaps from Bangalore have driven everyone into a naming spree.
