I'm not sure about Xenon kits being available in Kerala or India, for that matter.I have seen a few ads about these kits in the U.K and Sri Lanka though.Cost-wise it might be better to buy the OE kit than to import them.Fellow T-BHPians may be better informed........
Xenon look-alike halogens can be had for Rs.200+,depending on the brand and the type.It would be safer to go in for the 'clear white' type as you could get pulled over for anything 'bluer'.But then, you could probably get away by claiming that they're OE xenons on your Octavia, right? The Kerala Police would never be the wiser of that!

Im using a 7000k intensity Xenon Headlight conversion kit with high beam and low beam in my skoda 1.9tdi, its in pure white and is three times stronger than regular halogens. The light is even better than the ones on the L&K. if u want pics ill post them for you on monday. the kit is costing 29k, PM me of u want one.

Regards,
Arush

normallycrazy: luckily for u im in my workshop today so here some shots of what the lights look like headon... ill give u nightview shots of it.. well, at night! hehe. cheerios.

NOTE: xenon kits are manufactured either in taiwan or korea. Taiwanese kits are about 25% cheaper but not that reliable. Korean kits are much much better.

bhp yeah it is possible, every bulb has a different specification for instance lancer uses H7, skoda uses H4, camry uses 9005 etc etc.. so theres a huge vareity of xenon bulbs available and the cost depends on the kind of setup you want, they come with a massive wiring kit consisting of ballast resistors and modules. So yeah, fog lights with xenon bulbs are there.

Are you talking about the granite purple accord? It had yellow fogs.
