Alrite, now who doesn't know that he makes some of the best mods ever!! He specializes in illustration, graphics, ideation model making, surfacing and the complete construction of automobiles and automobile-related products. Today, Foose Design products and creative services are available to private individuals, television and film companies and automotive manufacturers.
Honors and Awards he has won
* America's Most Beautiful Roadster Award in 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2006. Some of these cars were designed by Foose and completed by other builders including such as Boyd Coddington, Barry White, and Bobby Alloway.
* Detroit Autorama Ridler Award in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
* The Good Guys Street Rod of the Year Award in the years 1990, 1991, 1995, 1997, 1999, and 2001.

I am fan of Chip Foose after seeing him all over Overhaulin. One of the best shows ever that has made the best cars on the planet. I don't think there is anything better than him. Does he have a website or something?

I was thinking there should be some threads already existing on chip foose. I dont miss a single episode of 'overhauling' on travel and living. I always thought DC in india would replace chip foose. But that was a fake thought. The designs done by DC are very ugly and way below average when we look at the works done by foose. The pictures above dont do justice to the works of Chip. These dont even come in the best 50 done by his talent. I will search my photo albums when I get some freetime !
everything looks good except for his choice of chrome wheels. I just cant bring myself to like them
PS: anyone watches overhaulin' ?

The bike is excellant. Its something like seeing a bonds future movies :) Frankly I never heard of this chip foose before. Thanks Karthik.
I have been a fan since I saw Overhaulin' for the first time... amazing stuff! And he even does custom alloys. This guy can work wonders with an old car.

He customizes everything in a car ! No exaggerations ! Total body design is worked on paper first, thats an amazing work progress to see on TV. It looks better than real photographs of a car. People who watch 'overhauling' will agree with me. Then he cuts his own designed alloys under the same roof ! He also does customized metal embloms/logos for the car. Then the paint job is directly superwised. ICE is done by part of the team work. Leather works are done under direct supervision. Add anything else to the work schedule, but all in 6 days flat !!!
Working on a brand new car body is a totally different game. Chip does majority of his works on scraps or very old cars with no market value. But the 6th day outcome will challenge any showroom vehicle.
Those who are not familiar with the show, please start watching, you will be addicted soon and will be a die-hard fan of this guy ! "American Choppers" is another serial that comes on Travel & Living (sunday 10pm) for bike fans ! A must see programe.
Overhaulin is not Chip Foose alone is it?? Its more like a group of people who specialize in diff stuff..

IMO Chip is the main guy in
Overhaulin..i like the way he does those free hand sketches and crayon/pencil color on the designs..its mindblowing..:Shockked:
