Santro - Dual Exhaust

Hi,

Is it ok to install dual exhaust on a Santro? Can anyone help me with the pros and cons of having a dual exhaust.

Welcome High Torque to TBHP. What do you mean by dual exhaust, do you mean 2 tail end pipes or 2 separate pipes right from headers onwards?

I meant two seperate pipes right from the header.

In your case, i assume there will be a loss of power due to inadequate backpressure. The Santro is a small car with a small engine! You dont need twin exhausts.

Then you can build and 4*2 exhaust system, very honestly its an overkill, unless you are into heavy performance territory. It will also be a pain to route the 2 pipes in the space of one.

Straight forward approach will be to go for a 4*2*1 system, any good modfication workshop will be able to help you or after market vendors like automech will have ready made kits.
