Esteem - Rear view mirror, door beams available cheaper?

Our Esteem's left side rear view mirror has been vandalised and needs to be replaced. The M.A.S.S which services the car is quoting approximately Rs. 1,500 for the mirror (with adjustment lever inside). And about Rs. 450 for one without adjustment lever.

Also need to change the black beams on the doors... the ones apparently made of fiber-glass or some plastic... as have just got part of my car painted. The service advisor quoted an exhorbitant Rs. 850 per beam!

Does anybody know if I can source these 2 parts in the aftermarket and save some money? I called one non-authorised garage for a second opinion on the prices, and was told to go only for genuine spares as after market mirrors and beams are not of good quality.

Does anybody know if I can get a good quality mirror and the beams for a lesser price (in Pune)? Have already spent a packet on the car already, and have to spend still more, so any saving would be a big relief. However, the quality should be good... else it will be more of a loss if they need to be replaced again!

Thanks for the response guys!

Hunting in chor bazar and all isn't an option, mainly for want of time... also, I dont guess there is any gaurantee I'll get it there. As for sourcing it from accident vehicles, I have no idea where I can source that... :(

Alstonvaz, I would be very greatful if you have any more details.... I can go to Nana Peth...

I tried calling couple of accessories stores for both items and was told I would only get such stuff in a spare parts shop. :(
