Quick/Urgent tyre query(Palio 1.2)

Hi Guys,
I am suppsed to changed my Palio's tyre by tomorrow, as I have to drive to Gondia(Nagpur) 1000 KM in a single day from Pune. I want to fit R-14 for comfirtable ride on long drives. Please let me know if it is possible to fit and what all the advantage and distadvantage. I would be fitting the tyre on standard rim(Not alloy).
