Getz with K&N FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit)

Now, After m4ugr8's filter install was done, The induction noise was so tempting, I went ahead with a filter install on my car also. We dont get a complete typhoon kit like the civic for the getz, but we get a FIPK. Here are some pics of the install.

Install done at GYRO, Moti Bagh. The Intake growl was very much satisfying, but moreover the drivability of the car increased, Considering the fact that i have 17", the car use to feel sluggish, but this has helped to some extent. Although this has lead to a major drop in FE

Now the next sticker going on my car will be a REMUS

Nice to know that you are going in for a Remus. I love the Growl they produce. The Remus Civic in Bombay has probably one of the best Mod Exhaust sounds ever.

No. I believe they make Bolt On End Cans for cars beyond the Civic Range. I know for a fact that the Civic, Accord and the Octavia have Bolt-Ons.

the Getz has a bend at the end of the exhaust pipe. which would mean that REMUS would not be an option. you could go for a complete FFE for a nice sounding exhaust note, better pick up since you feel it is sluggish and if you get the right one, better FE

Congrats, sam_786! Good stuff there!

I'm getting something similar for my Swift this month-end too -- K&N Apollo + Remus.

Remus does have a bolt-on for the Getz. It just seems to be out-of-stock (has been for a while). I was told this when I went to order a Remus bolt-on for my Swift

The Remus bolt-ons do not get *really* loud. They give just a subtle roar that sounds nicely serious. The Remus universal cans do sound pretty loud. I personally prefer the subtler roar.

@Sam - How much did you pay for the FIPK?
Also, where does the performance increase kick in?

Has the FE dropped because of the filter or because of the way you've now started driving?
How much has the drop been? I was under the impression that FE remains untouched or maybe even improves with a better filter system.

Thanks Hydra, I would prefer not an extremely loud note. Thats why i was searching for a Bolt-On.

The FIPK costed me 8k, I can feel a difference through the entire REV Band, though the low end is more significant. I have not tested outright top end performance yet.

This is a valid reason to void your warranty, But you can always fight. I have a good repo with the Service centre guys so this was not a problem.

For example you have some issues with your suspension which should be replaced under warranty, how does a air filter voids the warranty of the suspension???
