If you guys want, I can find car parts and availability for you. Just mention what you are looking for and cost and I'll see if available.

Hi Tejas, can you find me a functional multi-instrument, the kind that is on a Pajero - 3 gauges in ahousing; Temp, Compass & Pitch & Roll meter.

If you can let me know of its availability and cost (bargain hard dear), then I could decide.

Thanks in advance..

Translations are ok, but you need to consider the context too.
Thanks. Saved me the trouble to clarify.

That is very difficult! For the two years that i have owned a safari, i have tried chor bazaar every month for the same. I think i just stopped short of asking them to steal one for me.

Anyways, i shall still keep my eyes open.

@Tejas - I am in gujarat at the factory so wont be able to make it, would have loved to come.

@Atlblackz06 - Its used to be a place where stolen stuff was sold, but now junked cars are parted out and such.

Chor bazaar is a place where you find just about anything, how else do you think shahrukh khan stole amitabh bachan's job on KBC??

" Chor Bazar " has its name originated bcos stolen goods were sold at that market . Earlier , i am talking more than 15 years ago if you had your car parts stolen people use to joke that you will probably be buying your original part from the market . If your regular parts for your cars were not available then chor bazar was the place to source it out .specially parts for cars models which were discontinued . Now its kind of become a flea market ,kind of a tourist spot were foreigners get fleeced paying for fake antiques .

so finally what all did you manage to get tejas?
i hope you didnt land up by loosing your own alloys and stuffs like shown in the movie "slumdog millionare" ha ha

i have heard there are some agents who refurbish parts and sell out there. not mostly stolen ones but picked up from somewhere else and renewed to be sold off at a better price.

Agreed SRK.CHor-Bazar is just a Short Teaser of Auto Parts...The main HUB of used, accidental, scrapped Auto Parts is none other than C.S.T. Road @ Kurla(W),which houses everything from whole car body to small bearings.I know it better because i live nearby.

Kurla CST mostly. Right after the 'Shaman' Mercedes Benz showroom that has opened up in CST. Ask any autorickshaw guy about the chor bazaar at Kurla. There's one more somewhere around Grant Road, but I have never been there, so don't know its whereabouts.
