I had the same issues with colin. Have moved to Meguiars Glass Cleaner concentrate and it works at 1:10 dilution. Combined that with Sonax glass towels for the final touch, it works like a charm.

Actually even the newsprint has a separate issue.
The fibres of newsprint cause micro scratches, which you can see at night (as "glare") when the idiot opposite you flashes his high beam headlight in your eyes.

Perhaps this thread ought to clear some doubts :)

I don't think they have ever experienced the water beads sticking to the wind shield phenomena due to waxing.
On a more rational thought: what happens when we rub oil (hydrophobic) on the glass and spray the glass with water? The water clumps together as "beads". The large ones roll off towards the gravity, but the smaller ones stays on the glass because the small globules have such small mass that the gravity is not able to spread it down on the glass surface (against the surface tension) and pull it towards ground.

What happens when we rub soap on glass and then spray water?

Aditiya, don't use the turtle wax just use the 845 and maybe a day later apply another layer of the 845.

Thanks Captain. :thumbs up

I applied 2 coats of 845 on the ninja this last weekend - with a 24 hour gap between the 2 coats.

I also applied a single coat of 845 on the Ritz.

The car and the bike are gleaming and sparkling. :D

Did not get a chance to click any pics, will do so and post some time.

I am torn apart between NU finish and Collinite 845. Please suggest in terms of application and durability.

From where I can purchase the Collinite 845. I looked in ebay.in and that seller doesn't exist any more. Please help.

Contact sanjay@bringingbest.com who are the importers, and sell directly also.

I got it sourced from BringingBest 8 months back. It was delivered within 2-3 days to Bangalore. However you have to be careful while opening the package. We got two bottles and both had leaked a bit even though the packaging was good. The outcome after polishing was superb.

Thank you guys :thumbs up.

I sourced Collinite 845 from bringingbest. the finish on my fiesta and ecosport is very smooth. the durability and life will only be tested over a period of time.

I have also ordered Collinite 855 for leather and dashboard from Sanjay. he is a excellent person and quite helpful in detailing the products.

got hold of collinite 476 from Sanjay. Having been following the thread for some time have not seen any one using 476. Great polish but the durability will only be checked in due course. Immidiate results are good, but then that's true for any polish.

I have ordered Collinite 845 from Sanjay (Bringinbest), he is an wonderful person to deal with. I have paid 1395 incl tax for "Collinite 845 + Premium Eurow MF 350 GSM 16x16 inch", the shipping is free to Pune.

I am getting my Optimus Prime aka XUV 500 W6 on the auspicious day of "Dhanteras" on 1st of Nov. I will be using Collinite on my brand new car.

I am planning the following the procedure

1. Wash (Amway car shampoo)
2. Skipping Polish/clay because my car is brand new
3. 2 coats Wax (Collinite 845)
4. Stand back and admire

Please let me know if i need to do anything more than above mentioned steps.

Hi Ruchirnt

Can you please share your experience regarding result/durability of Collinite 845 wax and Collinite 855 for your Ecosport. I'm planning to use these products for my Ecosport Mars Red AT so your feedback would be really helpful. Please revert.

FYI, I'm planning the following:
1. Wash using Sonax Car shampoo or ONR car wash once a week
2. Apply Collinite 845 once a month.

Is this procedure ok or are you following different procedure which is giving you better results? Also, are you using any product for black cladding?

Thanks

:OT But why would you want to know about the performance of wax particularly on Eco sport? The durability of the waxes depend on how well the paint surface is prepped and not on the car model or make.

Reason being his EcoSport would be of same vintage as mine and also EcoSport internal plastics being hard in nature so wanted to check the end result.
Another reason is I'm unable to decide between Turtle, Collinite and Poorboy 
