Powered ORVM's for the older scorpio's

any idea if the new powered ORVM's fitted in the mighty muscular can be fitted into the older versions of scorpio...if yes where can we get it done and what would be the approximate cost.

The new Scorpio has just been launched. So I dont think the new powered OVRM would be available in the gray market so soon. You would have to source them from a M&M authorized workshop & again not sure if they would sell them off the shelf.

Another thing to ponder upon is that changing an OVRM from a manually adjustable to internally adjustable (with a stick on both sides) is pretty easy job. However replacing it with electrically operated one is a different ball game as it would introduce a lot of electical circuitary. Moreover it would also mean voiding any warranty on electrical equipment.

My 2 cents .

I don't think that there would be a major change in the wiring harness of CRDe and MHawk. If the ASC is willing to fit the powered OVRMs, then I don't think there would be any warranty issues.
