Restoration project Of my 1989 BMW E30 316i

There is an extremely famous E30 M3 which had a V12 swapped in there, then it underwent a twin turbo job...Supposed to be the most power E30 in the world. It's black, will search for the pics and post. According to an interview, the owner spent more than 100,000 Euros on modifying the car!!

Its used on cars that have been in accidents. It uses hydraulics to untwist it.

Yaa its in Delhi near Uttam Najar.
Will contact him tomorrow morning and will go to see the machine in evening.

Well, if you are looking at the mechanical factor then i think you will need to import a lots of things.

One thing i'll like to suggest you is, choose right people for the paint job as most of the workers just want money. They don't really care for the quality of work.

The quality of paint is a matter of great importance if you want to have a car which is few decades old and still looks brand new.

Hi, good luck for the restoration process, but the pic you have put is little far from doing, but you can do the custom paint job, and may be a six cyl eng from some BMW series, but see that you get all the ECM, wiring,and necessary components.

What is the update on the shell part. Has the rusted parts removed and fitted with new panels.

one needs to be a very strong person or a fool to get into restoring BMWs, and im sure you are breed apart and one of those DIE HARD BMW fans/lovers who will do anything for their BMW!

anyway i have one suggestion for you which might help you source some parts for E30.

Dubai and Sharjah has the biggest scarp yards for cars and im sure you will find a lots of spare in those yards which will be cheaper for you to make a trip and get them to india as scrap.

i can give you a good source in Sharjah and Dubai who can help you if you ever plan to visit there!

i think a return ticket and a visa for 14 days is enough for you to hunt the spares and send them back in a scrap container!

it will be much cheaper for you to take this visit than sourcing in india sitting in india!

I have not checked form last 10 days.
I have called at Auto Concept but there owner and Workshop Manager are in pune this days.
I have also reached Russia today.
Will come back next week and check out.

This project is closed now.
I am not able to complete this project because all the stuff is lost form my factory while robbery in factory.
Now i just have the Chassis of this car.
If any one need the chassis please feel free to contact me.

Hmmm that is very, very sad. They stole everything? Engine, gear box, differential, electricals and the whole shebang?

Please PM me the price you're expecting...Will talk to my dad today. Hopefully we can manage 2 E30s
