Rope/straps to tie carrier

hi,

I happen to travel out of town quite frequently. Have to undergo the ritual of tying the luggage on the top of the car everytime with the usual nylon rope. Had heard about (flexible) ropes with hooks on either end which make it very convenient to tie the luggage on the carrier.

Any idea where I can get such stuff ? Enquired at several places but no luc so far.

Also, are these safe i.e. will it be able to take wind pressure at high speeds ?

cheers

best to use non-elastic ones for roof carrier.
Get regular rope or nowadays get the buckled belts which are adjustable.

I use these:
Jumbo Bungee Straps Multipack from Halfords Price £14.99

Very strong and useful with large hooks on both ends. Unsure if one can buy such things in India though.

I have seen similar stuff at Metro Cash and Carry (Hyderabad)
Brand name was Car Jack.
