Nissan 350z Turbo

Hello,
These are the photos of the nissan.Although I got a turbo kit made for the Nissan,we had to remake a lot pipes. We had to relocate the battery, starter, power steering cooler and some a/c pipes. After we were done, there was not even space to look inside below the first layer of pipes.
The list is
1)Turbonetics turbo
2)Spearco Intercooler
3)560 cc injectors
4)Dual warbros(no fuel starvation under hard conering)
5)Turbosmart waste gate
6)Raptor BOV
7)Haltech 350z ems

Boost is set at a 5psi because of too much wheel spin, even with the traction on....a little yellow indicator saying "SLIP" flashes every time to use 80% throttle.
Once the tires are changed,we will "up" the boost to 9-11 psi

Thanks
Karan

Wouldn't it have been better to get the bolt on kits by companies overseas?
They would have given a higher power gain and costs pretty cheap too.
No need for all the extra pain taken.
Power gain not impressive for the kit, IMO. showing a gain of 25% correct.

Maybe the cost was the concern, what did this set you back by?

Yes,I did get it from a co.that sells bolt on kits. But it wasnt bolt on to my surprise.
JDM cars seems to be different from the USDm market where the kit came from.Freight and duty extra.Total came to 5.5 lacs
Any turbo kit will give u 30% increase, which we got and are quite happy. But like I said, one the tires are changed,40 hp more for sure.

Good quality pics, clean work, like the header wrapped pipes, dyno graphs, explained the build a bit, overall awesome post!

TIP: Please describe the builds a bit more, as in what the client wanted out of his car, what power gains was he looking at, breakup of costs etc.

Its got very nice mid range torque around 315 ft/lbs at 4000 rpm, very good for 5psi boost level. but in both the graphs the torque starts falling off from 5000rpm.
in first graph the drop in torque is around 20ft/lbs from (200 ft/lbs) @ 4800rpm to (180 ft/lbs) @ 6000 rpm, but in 2nd graph the fall in torque is more from (300 ft.lbs) @4800 rpm to (230 ft/lbs) @6000 rpm that's drop of almost 70 ft/lbs!that's a lot of torque, Once they fine tune this portion it should show more gains & yeah 15Psi would be a killer.

Nice project, the Z itself is a sweet car, now this will make it a monster. Hoping to see more bhp in the future.

How much boost will it take with stock internals?

the 'before' dyno graph shows a RWHP of around 207 , stock 350s are rated at around 280 to 300 hp. Is transmission loss of around 80 hp normal? sorry if its a noob question

The Turbo looks quite huge. Nice custom piping. Can we have pics of the beast with the bumper and some timings, please?

Also Karan, please explain how the torque pattern changes so drastically post the TC job. Non-Technical jargon, please.
