So here it is clap:the FIRST car modded out of the SPEEDSPORT stable. My Swift Zxi.

Having had a horrendous experiance at my earlier attempt to get as fast(er) than stock car, did not quite go as planned or rather promised. As many of you are aware of the miserable work done earlier on my Lancer.

So this time around I was sure, that I was not going to be short changed, and was going to give my car in a "tuner's hands" & not to some self-proclaimed "tooner"

It was passion & expertise personified, to see Phil work on porting & polishing the head. I knew that instant, that I had landed at the right place (though this was no co-incidence). I had driven the Zen that won him many laurels at the Autocross 2008. That masterpiece was built by Phil with his own hands, so my confidence was/is high.

Post the headwork, the lathe work was done & THEN the shiny new custom built street cam came in :D, built to the specs of SPEEDSPORT somewhere accross many an ocean !!

The headers & FFE again custom built to SPEEDSPORT specs.

I being a stickler for perfection asked Phil to also take a look at the suspension, as I felt the front strut was bottoming out every once in a while over potholes..Sure enough the front struts had leaked, so without much ado in went a pair of new Struts.

The car is being tested by Phil as of now & the exhaust note I heard over the phone was....NICE. Fine tuning is on, minor rattles of plastic panels are being attended to. An audio upgrade is being put in place. Contemplating between Bull and Rainbow for the components.

So this is the story so far, pardon me but the pictures shall be uploaded soon..

Great to hear this, now we need drive report and how you are enjoying it.

Whats being done for fuelling? You should have invested in Konis straightaway. Worth the effort and money.

great job phil. Nice to see things coming good. Plan something for my vtec as well. I would love it if you could do something for my suspension.

Phil is an excellent guy and quite knowledgeable as well. I have no doubt that he has done a great job with your car Ricky ji, would love to see some pictures of the finished work.

Thanks all you wonderful people Pramod, carazydiablo,megazoid,DocG, Abhinav - for the positive responses..I shall post pics once I have the car in my hands - so far Phil is busy doing 160 kmph & letting me have the pleasure of hearing the exhaust note - which to put it mildly is EUPHORIC :D

Many congrats Ricky, having read about your previous mis-experiences I guess you deserve a solid ride!
Lets hope this new ride of yours is super and we see the first speedsport car on this forum.
