Hey neat set of wheels. But personally i would have loved the look of the front with just the wire mesh grill rather than the plastic rectangular thing.
Is the dual exhaust real?

I do not like the front, steering grip and seat cover shades.

Rest all really looks good on the car, especially the alloys, black top and the dual sliencers.

Cheers !

The looks are subjective. Its all in the eyes of the beholder.

Is it stock under the hood or any performance mods?

Earlier i had Green Airfilter and Full FFE, but later it was brought to Stock, since my wife was bit un-comfortable to drive the dame.

My Black Day -- Swift Hitting a small Petty shop

Note from Mod : Strictly no more than 2 smilies per post please. Read our rules.

Hi Mates,

after having a lovely tour to my wife's home town.

i had to visit a place chittor to attend small function. and it was bit late.

i have driven at 120 to 140 Kmph in night on a highway, and i had a full control on my vehicle. where i have controlled the vehicle in many cases.

i was bit tired so gave the control to my brother to drive the vehicle and after the vehicle passed to my brother in 20 mins there was a big bang and the vehicle hitted the small petty shop.

incident took place around 10:30 p.m. gods grace there were no causalities and no injuries either side.

Now let me narrate the incident.

Sunday night a speeding Lorry was in opposite direction where in a Guy was overtaking the Lorry in his two Wheeler, has lost control and straight away came on me, to avoid Head on With the 2 Wheeler we had to slightly steer my steering towards my left and the road was not good and had lost control the road was pretty bad.

we straight away hitted into a small petty shop(closed) and the front portion has taken the impact.

The petty shop was full damaged and the roof(Cement sheets) has given the full impact for my vehicle body. the full impact was on the body.

Causing no damages to Engine or suspension or Chassis (Happy ) only AC compressor had taken the impact.

if that guy(2 wheeler) had slow down every one should have been safe.

we were doing around 80 KMPH. Brought the vehicle Back to Bimal, and by seeing the quotation i was shocked it was nearly 1.7 Lakhs.

even paid 15k for the petty shop. where in the owner demanded 50k where in i can set up 5 to 10 shops like that.

i am planning to bring the car back to stock later will work on modifications.

i have included some pictures which were taken 10 days before the accident.

I feel very sorry for what happened.

Lots of denting & painting job is required. Seems to be only the rear doors & boot are fine.
My guess: You may have to pay atleast 40K from your pocket apart from insurance coverage.
Anyways as requested, post the quote given by Bimal.

How much did you pay for the front bumper?

I need to pay 25k From my pocket, as per the insurance covered.

and only the boot is fine. even the Rear Doors are damaged.

yes i am replacing all the Spares, no Denting no repairing. as i am esteemed customer of Bimal and know some high sources.( 5 cars from bimal).

the front bumper was made at my friends place and i paid him only the labour and material which costed me around 5 k including some tip to the painters and workers.

Recently, one of my friends got all doors of his i10 repainted, including the dicky door.

Hole in the pocket : 32000 INR. He paid 4000 from his pocket.

Believe you will also get similar numbers, atleast on the painting part
