Wanna learn....Help

Hi Every1,

I'm a newbie but I wanna learn EVERYTHING about car mods and performance tuning(I'm not interested in body kits.... only in performance upgrades).

I want to learn everything I can about improving performance, dyno tuning , ecu, air-fuel ratios etc etc.

Can any1 suggest me a good web-site or book or anything which i can read ?

Currently, I own a Palio 1.6 GTX... the only mod I have put is K&N air filters....I'll upgrade my flywheel & headers next... Any suggestions ?

Thanx for helping !!

Click on thislinky. Its by far the strongest resource for Indian petrolheads.

In addition, you might want to check out www.howstuffworks.com

Hey Rock_you,

As GTO said, howstuffworks is a good basic website.
But if you really want to learn about mods, first you have to completely and perfectly understand how the systems of a car work.

Also, try and get some first hand learning. Do stuff yourself, open up stuff, hang around at a mechanic and take that dosage in parellel with google.com. Great way to learn.

Or even better would be that after learning theory, go to a garage where you can see what happens and what they do and try learning from the mechanics there so you can even gain on the practical side and if possible you can but a scrap car and get it back in shape once you feel you know enough.
That is what i plan to do once i get some free time.
