Baleno Fog lights

With winters coming in 2-3 months time, I am thinking of getting fog lights installed in my Baleno. I talked to a local car accessory dealer and he advised me to get the bulb replaced in my existing headlights. He said they would provide clear visibility in fog as well.

The only problem is those bulbs are illegal as the incoming driver is blinded by the intensity of the light.
I know that MGA fog lights cost a fortune and I'm looking for a cheaper alternative.

Are there any good quality low price fog lights available ?

Exactly. Even I heard the same stuff from lots of mechanics. A mechanic from Lancer dealer attended the vehicle last week & was surprisingly asked, " Are you still the lights that came in stock condition?" He felt as if it was crime. I told that the manufacturer would have stick to some basics and suggested it, hence I not interested in change

This particular change has impact on others unlike upgrading the car. Hence please keep away from it.

I believe it also voids your car warranty

well the baleno fog lamps come for like 11 grands i suppose...
i am not too sure abt it though...just my 0.02 cents...

you are correct..Baleno fog lamps cost something similar to 12 grands :(

I got my MGA fogs free with the car. Surprising, considering the price they are!
