Toyota Innova on the Dyno!

Hello,
I am putting up 3 dyno grahps for the 2.4 innova
  1. Only K&N Air filter
  2. Only down pipe
  3. K&N + Tunit chip
Bottom left corner will have the list of parts on the car at the time of the dyno.I have tried to keep the test condition as equal as I could do to get the most accurate read outs

I hope this will be used as reference for people who were confused to as what to do with their innovas....I will aslo put up the next chart that will have K&N,exhaust and the chip.

Thanks
Karan

Actually, it would be interesting to see the same car tested with Tunit Chip, Petes and RD ecu. Coz k&n and down pipe dont really stand a chance against a chip upgrade (especially on a turbocharged engine).

Doesn't pete claim around 130-140bhp and 230nm-250nm @ crank, for the Innova D?

Karan, you have measured the Torque in which unit? Is it Nm? What is the Torque specified by the manufacturer. Please clarify.

Torque is in lbft.

lbft x 1.35 = nm

Holy hell, that is just absolutely insane!!!!!

That thing is absolutely crazy. It seems to have stock suspension and stock outside, except for the wheels/tires. The ultimate sleeper in the world ever.

I am pretty sure though that the engine breaks down every 100 kms.

Re: Toyota Innova on the Dyno!

Everything is fine. But why do the stunts on a public road?

This is not the right way for a photo shoot to be done. A closed circuit or an empty road cut away from traffic would have been much appreciated.

Re: Toyota Innova on the Dyno!

Which Asian country is that MAD Innova from?

I like how they have kept it a sleeper. Innova is dynamically superior to Fortuner, so makes sense why they chose the former. But with that sort of specs, chassis dynamics goes out of the window.
