Re: i10 Headlamp Bulb Upgrade

Hello,

I am using a Roots relay and wiring harness with 100/90w bulbs in my i10. But every now and then either the fuse goes off or the ceramic holder burns or the bulbs burn out.

I had to make a hole in the cap to upgrade to 100/90w, however the guy who worked on it really left a bigger hole and whenever it rains water makes its way into the headlamp assembly.

My friend uses a 100/130w bulb and faces a similar issue. We have used all brands of bulbs, Philips, Bosch, Osram etc but still no respite.

Does anyone know what could be the actual problem. I am using a fuse of 30A on the relay.

Thanks.
