Toyota Side Mirror - Where to buy?

Hi.

I need help in sourcing a right side mirror assembly for a Toyota Corolla ( not Altis but the one before ) that I am using on my trip to north India.

Its a rental and the bracket holding the mirror broke. I checked with Toyota and they want to sell me a whole assembly for 7.5K instead of just the mounting bracket.

Could anyone advice if there are any shops in Delhi that sell a bracket or the whole assembly at a more reasonable price, doesn't have to be Toyota OE.

Please advie at the earliest as I am in Delhi from tomorrow and need to get this attended to before returning the car on 10 Aug.

Hey wasif you can check out the Khari Baoli Road near Chandni chowk, old delhi area... its a very big market for second hand spares.... Its just near to Jama Masjid....

And please dont take your corolla over there.... the remaining parts will get missing...

Karol Bagh, Kashmiri gate... anyone will work. But for tomorrow only Karol Bagh.

Catch the metro, and get down at chawri Bazaar.
Start walking towards the masjid(ask people for vehicle scrap market).
Near the masjid you will see all these small shops selling every concievable part.

you even have the choice of buying "original" or "duplicate".

There is one shop in Kashmiri Gate before GPO,That person keep the genuine spare parts for all cars.We"ll give the details tomorrow.

And if you want to avoid all that grime mentioned in the previous post, you can go to Khan Market and get the desired part. Of course it won't be 7.5K but will be a little costly compared to all the other places mentioned above...

Sorry for bumping an old thread. I need your help to locate a bracket for my Atlis' side mirror in Hyderabad. The *** wants the whole assembly to be replaced for a cool 17K.

Mods: i thought of starting a new thread, but was not very sure. If this is not right can you please put it in a sepearate thread. Also, it will help if the title can be changed to reflect location as Hyderabad?
