Hi

Can anyone tell me if I can get these types of seats in bombay (where ?) and around how much they would cost ?

A set should cost you abt 15-20K (replicas)and if youre looking for them then PM me I'll try woking something out!

Dear Dinya ,
The seats whats there in the picture are basically used in racing / rally cars. these are a lot of varities in these are very specfic in terms of their use.

The seats "Sparco" make are now available in India (www.methodsonline.com") but are really very expensive. say around 20k + per seat and the seat belts what go with these seats are simarly piced . however there are also ones which are available for less .

Regarding the seats you can also get replicas of the original brands like Sparco , recaro , momo etc etc . I think a team bhp member by the name of KS Motorsport of some thing like that i dont remember sells them in Mumbai . Price i guess you can speak to him . also pick up any copy of Autocar , ot topgear magazine and you will find people selling these .

I thing i would like to say "these seats look nice but ae really not for every day use, your back will hurt like crazy " i speak from experience

Hi,

My two cents, if you don't mind.

I am currently located in Cyprus. These kind of seats are very common here. Almost all the 18-30 guys get these fitted. However, the seats do not go alone. There are lot of other mods that the car goes through so that the overall looks gel with the seats. Apart from others, one of the main changes which really enhances the look is by attaching kind of very low 'road-kissing' bumpers all around the car to give it a sporty feel. Obviously, the ground clearance goes for a major toss here. This mod will not work at all in India as we all know how the roads are. I really suspect if these seats will look good without getting the above mentioned modification on the car.

I dont want original sparco's or recaros. I'm looking for replicas.
I have a set over here that weigh 4kg each and was thinking of bringing them over. but if i can get similar looking seats in mumbai then I would rather buy locally.

hey 15 k is a good price for the seats . Also if you want i could help you out with the transportation as thats some thing what my company does. Should not cost you more that 1000 or 1500. thats door to door rates . well good luck with the seats .

Check pjspeedsshop also I seen black OHC fitting the carbonfiber seats ......It is cool and perfect finishing too.....
