Hi IronWolf,

Maybe some part of the reliability/road worthiness is because of the low boost set up. I wanted it to be an daily driver that offers reasonable gas mileage and quick enough for the street. I think I have achieved just that with my Baleno turbo.

You may not be able to spot my turbo job even if you were to see my car. It looks and sounds more like a stock car. I have also taken extra care to keep my BOV relatively silent and the intercooler too is not that visible.

The equation changes when its a serious race build turbo setup. Reliability may be compromised if you don't tune it right & if you don't use stronger internals. And Baleno does not have boost friendly (very strong) stock internals and is also disadvantaged because of the rod-ratio (longish).

Hi Yogisays,

Nice DIY build pics. I wonder why hes gone for such a small carb hat. I found it difficult to get acceptable performance with such small carb hat. Maybe I got my set up wrong. lol !!
