K&N Filters for SWIFT

Hi,

I have used K&N Stock filter for my old Santro and it has done wonders to the pick up, Topend, overall drive comfort, and mileage...

I checked out quite a few places as well as Maruti dealers, they have conveyed that K&N Stock is not available and only the K&N Universal performance filter is available for the SWIFT as on date.

I am interested in knowing the pro's n con's of using the universal filters and if anyone has infact found the stock filter for their SWIFT's??.

Looking forward to your feedback and thanks in advance

Well, Technically the Swift's engine is the same as the Esteem's.
So, it would be logical for Maruti to use the same airbox to reduce production costs.

So, check with Ozzone or Method's automotive. They MUST have the stock replacement filters available freely at major Accessory shops in Bangalore.
The same guy who sold Alloys and tyres to u might have it.

well anarchist firstly they r trying sell u a more expensive thing. and if you do not get a proper cold inlet it might actually make your car perform the opposite to what it is supposed to so dont go for the conical filter just as yet.

I am not game for the conical at all probably will never go for it, I am looking for the stock filter ONLY, I am not sure the esteem one fits the Swift as not even the Maruti service station came forward to tell me that I have already inquired with the guy who sold me the mags et all he said its not yet available in the market, dont know why??

Hi buddy, Sorry this is a bit offtopic!
.......but Im about to invest in an airfilter for my Santro(2002) and I was wondering if you could give me some advice, like who did your work installation, where you purchased it. What sort of FE you experienced and also what other mods your car is running??

Thanks in advance

Get a universal conical filter for ur Santro.

PJSPEED's stuff costs 1000 bucks while K&Ns cost upward of 5000.

Suit urself.
