finally i have got a 100/90 philips rally H4 for my alto old model headlights.
i have put a PMP relay kit.
its a marginal upgrade as the high beam is very powerful , but the low beam spread could have been better.
cost of each bulb is 150rs and kit costed 500 rs , fittment 50 rs.
i am totally satisfied.:) thanks to happy wheels |
Try setting the headlamp assembly a bit on upper side. It must be having a screw to adjust the settings. That will give you a better low beam spread.:thumbs up

Life of +80% and +80% bulbs is usually less than half than that of normal bulbs. esp with frequent high/low beam switching.
I'm planning to install a pair of Hella Rallye 4000 with 100W H1 bulbs on my Indica Lxi. What are the precautions/steps i need to take during installation. Planning to install a seperate switch to control them. What are the addons i need to purchase to install the Rallye 4000?

I also have doubts about the 80% of normal life claimed on a bulb which will 80% more light! I have put it on my CEIDA - so let me see over time. These bulbs are new in the market and will know after some time only.
Apart from the cutting and relays need, the problem I find with higher wattage bulbs is that they kind of balcken a bit over time and you will not see the initial advantage after some time.
Where and which bulb did you get for your CEDIA Pathfinder ?
Urgent advice needed:
what type of headlamp bulb does the scorpio has (h4 or h7 or etc)??
Will Phillips Xtreme bulbs fit in my 2003 scorpio?
If not, then what is the brightest bulb available for the scorpio?
Please reply ASAP guys, im gonna go shopping now.
TIA

I picked it up from JC Road after some search. Check out my post

I have Angle eye in the swift, the problem is that some of the LED's are not working and when I took it to some electronics shop for repair, he told me that some of the resistance were broken and he was not able to find the correct values of it. Can anyone have an idea if I can get the complete kit of LEDs with the wire so that I can replace the existing one.
Need urgent help, I am planning to put in H4 HID in my car.
Has anyone here bought a 4300k or a 6000K bixenon. If so what brand and how much does it cost.
I've been quoted Rs8500 for the Philips kit, it comes only in 6000k, I was more keen on 4300k. Will there be a large difference between 4300k & 6000k. I would anyday prefer a Philips kit to a Chinese kit. Kindly advice me on the modification.
thanks in advance,
Manoj
6000k = lots of show, no light advantage from halogens, worse than stock in fog/rain.
4300k = reason you should be using HIDs.

not really. they are much better than halogens though not as good as 4300k. and not as irritating as 8000k and 10000k. 6000k is the best compromise between show of and utility.lol:
I disagree, but I don't want to argue ;)
