Folks,
We have an Indigo LS, April 2006 model, my question was can the double barrel headlights from the LX/XL models be fitted in place of the ones that came in the LS ?
Cheers

Which bike?
If its AC, then you would need to convert the bike to a DC setup. Not a tough job, but that can hamper reliability.

1. The bike is currently running an AC setup, you need to get this changed to a DC setup.
2. You will be blinding a lot of the oncoming traffic as the HID in a reflector setup means that a lot of light will scattered unnecessarily.
3. You need to find a proper place to install the ballast.
4. What you can do is have the Lo Beam as HID and Hi Beam as Halogen so you can roam around the streets without cause inconvenience to anyone.

You will need to put a relay if you are upgrading to higher power.
Hi Folks, I want to upgrade the head lamps on my Dzire. I have decided on Phillips 100/90 rally bulbs.
Also, what other stuffs should I buy along with these? Relays, ceramic holders, anything else I missed?
Where I can I procure these bulbs and where can I get them installed?
I am not too sure if MASS will do it and I don't want to go to any local mechanic, since I am still under warranty.. Please suggest a reliable shop which does these installation.
If my choice of bulbs is wrong, please suggest alternatives.
Hi all,
I have recently acquired an Octavia vRS.I am keen on going in for strobes(I respect all who find strobes flashy, but then with me it has always been a fascination:D) and am ordering StreetGlow Pro series of Headlight strobes.
Although, There is a thread on strobes, I could not find any tips specific to the installation of strobes on the vRS considering it has a unique housing including fogs and xenons in the headlight assembly. Now, how do I install the strobes(it's a set of four u-shaped bulbs)?
Will these bulbs fit directly in place of the parking buls??In that case what happens when I switch on the high beam light? Is it advisable to really drill a hole in the headlamp assembly for installing these?
All suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Hi all,
I own a Safari Dicor 2.2. i want a headlamp upgrade to brilliant white light, the ones with the halogen effect.
I tried the Osram cool blue 90/100 but that did not give me the white light.
I am not going for any, projector setup, Xenons, HID kits but only replacement of bulbs with the same wattage (H4 55/60 w).
I like the bluish light given by the new Mahindra Scorpio mHawk.
Can anyone please tell me, what bulbs are Mahindras providing with the new Mhawk to provide these Bluevision headlamps ?
Also, any bulb i can use to get the similar or better light effects. I use my vehicle only for highway driving so no compromise on performance.
Please note, the bulb, whatever it be, should essentially be H4 55/ 60w.
Awaiting your response. Please help. 800 bucks gone down the drain on th Osram cool blue. :-(
^^ you won't get white lights on "H4 55/60 w"
you either need to upgrade to HID or use the 90/100 bubs, thats what most of people are using.
90/100 are not bad if you use ceramic holder and a relay.

thanks for your response but, there are quite a few 55/60 bulbs offering white light. i am asking for help here as i don't want to go the trial and error way.
as for the 90/100, they will void my vehicle's warranty brother.
