Most of the modern cars have a neat organizer in the boot which sits in the spare tyre. This mould (of whatever material it is) holds the spanner, jack, and other tools supplied. Would anyone know what this is called and where I could get on for my Spark? It just makes a lot of sense to keep the tools in an organized manner and avoid any kind of rattling and save on space.

I doubt you may get something for the Spark. These come on few cars, or rather that is the trend these days. And on newer models. So you may not get it for spark either from dealer or even after market, as the sale for this type of an item wont be significant

You can instead pick up some other organizers which are available at various after market retailers and come in different shapes, sizes and textures and for different purposes

The alternative is to have a 'Trunk organiser' something like this one on ebay

I have it in my truck, and apart from the tool box and additional set of tools, it is useful to store many other things like all the polishes and car wash stuff as well.

Thanks for the reply guys. Yes, I had one of these trunk organizers in my car in the US. Using the same in the Spark will eat up a lot of space. I really liked the idea of the toolkit organizer that I mentioned in the first post as it takes up the space in the spare wheel itself. Well, I guess I might have to find it out somewhere. Afterall, there is nothing that you wont get in India, isn't it?

Bumping an old thread.

Was looking for a good car boot organizer for quite some time store the umpteen rubbish that I carry around in my Cruze. Finally managed to get my hands on the 3D 'Handy Trunk' one for only 2.3k off eBay India.

Looks smart and matches my 3D mats as well
