I am going, and I am from Bangalore. I am flying - can't get enough leave to go by train

I will be staying with an Aunt, so accommodation is not an issue. I would seriously suggest you hunt around your friends/relatives and see if someone will put you up (and put up with you ) for a couple of days - will save you a bucket load of cash.

Hi all,

I thought of tabulating t-bhp'ian details from the responses on this thread till now. Given below are screen names, location and F1 marshalling department. Lets see how big the list grows. Counting 13 t-bhp'ians and hopefully many more.

Bangalore/Mangalore -
1. libranof1987
2. kiloalpha
3. vis-racing
4. ego4ever - recovery
5. sidgera - bangalore
6. silentengine - mangalore

NCR
1. saurabhdadhichi - new delhi
2. streetaddict - delhi - track
3. sn1p3e - gurgaon - track
4. nitin.rai - new delhi
5. mpuri - new delhi
6. sid1509 - faridabad - track

Chandigarh
1. palio1.6-2002 - chandigarh

I suggest we all meet up early on friday before leaving for the training venue. Suggest we meet under the Mahamaya flyover (start of Noida - Greater Noida expressway; everyone will take this expressway unless one is staying at greater noida) at 8 am friday, 9th Sep. Assuming everyone turns up by 8.10 and another 15 min run to the Jaypee public school, G-block, Greater Noida. We will be at the venue by 8.30 am. Whatsay?

Cheers, Sid

I just got the same. Wouldn't that be one hell of an unpaid job?

Re: Want to be a Track Marshall at the Indian F1 GP? EDIT: Now closed.

Hi,

I got my sms and email too this morning. It just says training, no mention of Fire, Recovery etc. I am traveling from Mysore by train and will reach Delhi on 8th. Any suggestions on accommodations for 1-1.5k per night close to venue?

Thanks.

Re: Want to be a Track Marshall at the Indian F1 GP? EDIT: Now closed.

This one goes out to all Delhi resident T-BHPians who are going to the F1 training.

I am going to be staying in my Aunt's house in Defence Colony.

Do you suggest that I take the Metro to Botanical Garden and meet up on Friday morning with you all?

Or if anyone is coming past Moolchand/Lajpat Nagar Metro, could I hitch a ride? Please PM me if you are volunteering for this

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Want to be a Track Marshall at the Indian F1 GP? EDIT: Now closed.

Got the same SMS/mail.

For the people flying in from B'lore - can we co-ordinate and book flights/acco? Might be easier+cheaper.

I see at least Silent Engine and veyronrocks are confirmed?
