They were buffed approx 4 years back and it is still good. Loads of shine. i never heard of any such complaints about chrome not lasting on an avl engine.

Thanks. Why didn't you get the head and cylinder chromed? Any idea about the cost?

Well i thought it would be overkill if i get the head and cylinder chromed to, so went for this. Well i don't exactly remember as it was 4-5 years back but will enquire and let you know.
