I have done a lot of curves in himachal on CBR and it was excellent. It really knows how to carve corners so you should enjoy it in ghats.

My impression is that KTM being lighter is more flickable - you can literally throw it around. CBR is more like a sports bike and thus likes to hold its line. This makes for confident, aggressive cornering.
