Waiting to see the final product because the paint job on the test mules was not so interesting as compared to the original during the launch in January.
Has the ex-showroom price dropped by another Rs1000?

re: The All New Bajaj Pulsar 200NS Unveiled! Update: Rs 84,096- ex showroom Pune

The price comes up to below 1Lac on road in most parts of India.

This is amazing pricing considering the technology offered. If hey could improve quality over their existing offerings then I would say they have a fair chance of a game changer.

I have not been a bajaj fan due to hearsay about 'quality and heavy handling bikes' but I have to admit that they keep impressing me as a bike maker. We are fortunate to have them as our home grown company.

I see Apache being affected the most as this pulsar 'Handles' well, Along with the likes of R15, Duke, ZMA, CBZ, Hunk, CBR150R and even the 250R but of course in small numbers.

Amazing pricing strategy and again hope that it is not at the cost of durability or quality of parts.

From some of the pictures that I saw on xbhp, the Black looks most potent to me.

Killer pricing. Am sure this will sell like hot cakes.
200NS / Duke 200 pricing is spot on from Bajaj. For me Bajaj have always been the market movers (from early Pulsars).

I saw the display bike in probiking, Vasai, in its yellow avatar. It looks stunning and looks muscular. Kudos to Bajaj Pulsar team to come up with this design that sets it apart from the previous generations. Looking forward to their fully fared version if its in the road map!

@Ravan, did you notice any changes to the bike from the one that was displayed during the launch?
Its been six months since the bike was showed to the public. I assume testing and few changes were done to the version that was displayed. Eagerly awaiting the first review from a TBHPian!

Day before, I saw one (without the number plates) near Ghatkopar Bus Depot. It was a black one with a very different exhaust note. Unfortunately, could not click pics or get more details since the bike was being handled very rashly and the rider looked more like a mechanic rather than the owner. He was not even wearing a helmet.

My respect for the house of bajaj has gone up manifold after this! this is what is meant by "market innovators"....to top it all, rahul Bajaj is also a statesman in the true sense of the word.

Hero Motor Corp should learn from them- mere restickering and flogging an old platform to death will only get you so far.

Hey,can U explain what U mean by "different exhaust note". Was it noisy or was it very silent. Was it good at least ? How was the black colour cause I'm confused between black and red ! Also was the bike big like the 220 ot is it compact like the 135( which wud be bad ). I'm asking this cause I'm getting very conflicting views about the size of the bike when I browsed through the xbhp forums.

It was not noisy, but a smooth low frequency hum kind of note.
Personally I dont like anything in black, but the bike looks very compact and similar to 135 from the rear end. I saw the bike for only about 15 seconds, since the rider was weaving through dense traffic, so could not take a closer look.

Oh no !!!!! Not like 135 :| .I was expecting it to be at least bigger than the 135
I actually like that mild humming exhaust which is a good thing for me

For the pix I have seen on some auto mag, it doesnt looks big like the 220 but a small, nimble bike.

Great pricing Bajaj! Hope the part quality issues with KTM is not carried over though.
