Do you mean - how do we connect to other riders who are not on the Ridegrid?

A - C30 has a facility to patch one phone call with the Ridegrid via the app - we have used this many a times.

After recent app update, it's not working for iOS devices. Have tried resetting the device and on multiple iOS devices. It's stuck at opening page with c50 logo. Very poor app design and lack of proper testing of app. Anyone else facing issues? Best is to not update app to avoid getting into this hassle. No response from support yet.

Same issue happening. In my case i migrated phones ( iOS to iOS) via cloud backup restore. The app works on the older phone but on the new phone is stuck in the pairing screen with the C50 background.

Is BluArmor C30 still good buy for someone who only uses the headset for navigation and taking occasional calls? The one I bought with my helmet for around 2K (a year old now), is OK, but sound volume is not adequate, and battery barely lasts 3 hours (I don't even listen to music and podcasts).

With the C30 being sold for around 10K, if the sounds quality is better and if battery can last few 3 years or so, I am tempted. Or, are there better options available in the market for my use case?

Yes it's very good buy. Product is good but Bluarmor screws up things sometimes. You will find lot of C30 on sale at deep discounts due to C50 trailblazer offer enhancement.

Considering all the points above, I was a bit sceptical purchasing a brand new one. But now, I've got a deal from one of my friend for 1 year old C30. He is selling because he stopped riding and letting go of all his gears and accessories.

Do you guys think it's a good buy for 4.5k?

Can I be honest? I would want to invest another Rs. 2999 in the additional helmet kit ANYWAY (includes the Speaker, mic, clamps and 3m adhesive pads), as I would not be comfortable with using the original helmet speaker set and mic that has been close to someone's face for 1 year. This will bump up cost bringing it close to the C30 price.

If you can save a bit, do save and go for a new unit. if you are comfortable with this, sure Rs. 4500 is a good price for the entire set with mic and headset and using and clamps.

This totally makes sense. Never thought from this perspective. I did rethink about this and turned down the deal. Thanks for this input doomketu!.

Please try installing the H30 app. It’s made for hero motorcycles, but we can use our blue armor as well as the S20X easily. For me, the blue armor app stopped working, but then I paired it using the H30 app started working again.

Yes, that's what I’m using. But looks like BA team is clueless about solution. it's more than 10 days, they are blaming it on apple app store. Looks like they have screwed up royally.

Hey Everyone, I am looking for Helmet Speakers but have no idea which one should I buy.
Not interested in Intercom systems, just Bluetooth Helmet Speakers. Main priority is the sound quality for me.
I've looked up on the net and found Cardo 2nd Helmet accessory kit with JBL speakers but I guess it requires the intercom module or not maybe? Also, it is quite expensive man. Non-JBL version, now idea about the sound but they come at a better price.
I've also looked up the Bluarmor HS1 helmet speakers but the sound quality doesn't seem nice.
If anyone knows about some good helmet speakers, it would be great.
I think 5K-6K would be more than enough for it.

Regarding the Cardo units, the speakers connect to the Bluetooth unit cradle through a 3.5mm jack. so if you can get a 3.5 male to female connector you can skip the Bluetooth unit from Cardo and just purchase the second helmet kit.

Remember that helmet is not built to give proper acoustic reproduction. Depending on the helmet, the outside noise will vary. So don't expect audiophile quality music.

I guess then I'll go for some other helmet speaker around the range of 3K-4K. But have you got any suggestions in the budget if any good quality speaker that can stay for long?
I just have the BluArmor HS1 (same as TVS one too ig, BluArmor only makes them).

What is your use case? I personally am not a fan of listening to music when riding due to safety reasons. I have been using a generic Chinese ebay headset mainly for google maps navigation cues or taking a quick call etc. for a couple of months now and I have found the sound quality to be more than satisfactory. Priced cheap enough to give it a try and better than buying from resellers on Amazon.in. No matter what device you use, like skviknaraj says, the sound won't be even half as good as a decent car stereo when playing music, especially at highway speeds.
