I dont think this has anything to do with the filter. Check your carb and jets. If you have a free flow filter, upjet or tune to a richer setting, else you will have the knocking or misfiring issue.

Some of the best tuners are in Banalore and Chennai
DTW, Ron Chinoy, Tectrac and Indus come to mind first. DTW and Tectrac both have racing teams and they know how to make RXs fly. Satish Bhojanna for DTW has the winningest bikes after the works TVS Shaolins.

Also note RXZs sold in Latin America are 21 bhp @6500 stock. Plenty of low and mid range power.

Hey! Honda, you just seem to have a dirty carb. Which filter were you running before your mech reverted back to stock? I might have missed this but which carb are you running?

Half port? What on Gods green earth is that?

Is it the same as a half tea? I don't get it.

I always get to learn something new from every post of yours. Do let us know bro.

FE and 2 stroke aren't they contradictory?

If you could elaborate some more on the "Half port" maybe I can figure it out myself, I'm not a Guru with a motorcycle engine but I wanna learn.

Could anyone else shed some light on a half port? Would really appreciate it.

FE and Two stroke are contra. but i use to get 40 kmpl when block was stock, i have a full ported block in which i get FE of 20-23 kmpl and the block which is half ported in which i get FE of 27-30 Kmpl.. this what i have noticed after porting the block....

The mileage figures do seem pretty good man. I dont' get anything better than 35 on my stock RXZ. Heck! hasn't given me more than 28 and this is a stock engine.

Neat mileage figures are pretty good. Do you still have the RXZ or have you disposed it? I read somewhere that you sold your bike not sure which one.

Hey Devang,

To clear things out. Your head was never ported. All he did was clean out the ports with sand paper which is why you were charged so less. Porting is way more expensive and intricate.

Sand paper to port the bike?
I use sand paper to clean out my ports...
Would take a life time to actually take out a couple of mm of material even with the thickest sand paper.

Roach- Yes same person from the other forum.
You dont know what he means by half port-full port

My drag setup gives used to give me a mileage of 30 man... mileage of 25 OMG
