I have purchased Gixxer today. Have ridding 20 odd KM today. After initial short ride, the longish short ride did not disappoint at all. The bike hits 60 KMPH at 4100-ish rpm in 5th gear.

Now it seems like a major upgrade over Pulsar 150. It pulled 150 KG of weight (with pillion), from standstill, on incline, without a sweat. Good low and mid range. I have never been planning to ride bike at triple digits on our roads. The bike should be good enough below that. I did not feel any vibrations at all (I think Pulsar could be partly responsible here).

Perfect for my requirement sans ABS. How I wish..

Congrats atnyia. The Gixxer quite simply is the best 150 cc in the market today. Naked 150.

I have ridden it for around 500 KMs and currently it is parked due to cold weather conditions and I am using car for commuting.
I am very pleased with the riding experience and looking forward to get on it as soon as weather gods allow. The stand out feature for me are very balance riding and instrument panel which looks more accomplished than my car's. The bike has got well tuned suspension and 1 hour rides don't tire me at all. Enough low end torque with fat tyres give bike superb maneuverability in city traffic and good sitting position makes rides enjoyable. There are a few vibrations but I expect them to smoothen out in next 1K KM. I must point out that it is still better than the smoothest Pulsar (which I have ridden till this time).

Niggle: Idle RPMs increase after 30 mins rides to office. When I stop at office, they are at 2000!!
Cold starts not satisfying. The RPMs take some time to get some stability. Pulsars were better.
I think both are due to carburetor not tuned properly. Expect it to be fixed at fist service. I have not given it for first service as I was not available in Gurgaon for the whole month.

Mileage: Have not measured but it is 60-ish for sure. I am riding on highway all the time.
