Honda unveils many updates at Revfest, Mumbai

Looks like Revfest; being hosted by Honda, will serve as the stage for the launch of 3 updated models and 1 new model.

The updates to be launched are the CB Trigger, CBR250R and the CBR150R.

The new model to be launched is the CB Hornet 160. Which is meant to be a sportier version of the CB Trigger. Much like the Dazzler was to the CB Unicorn.

Here are a few pictures of the CB Hornet 160.

IMO, the CB Hornet 160 looks very fresh and appealing. Looks to have a Combi Brake System. Only grouse might be the sloping rear seat. Not exactly ideal for the pillion.

Overall, glad to see a new bike from Honda. Waiting for the pricing and the reviews to see it can compete with the FZ and the Gixxer.

Other details of the CBR650F can be found here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/superb...-india-16.html

Looks are killing!!

Like what I see.
The Dazzler was a half baked product.
I would love to see the analogue tacho back in the bikes.

Not a big fan of the all digital meters most new bikes sport.

This is sort of similar to the age old temperature gauges of the 4 wheelers(that I certainly vote for).

All in all, Hornet looks set to "Stir up a Hornet's Nest" in the two wheeler market.

Sorry to disappoint you mate; no analog tacho on the Hornet.

No specifications, no pricing. Nothing was revealed at the launch today!

Rumors are strife that the African Twin will be launched in India with an expected price tag of around 17 Lakhs Ex Showroom. Possible tentative dates might be 2017.

The Honda Website mentions the CBR 250R with an air cooled engine. AFAIK The CBR 250R was a liquid cooled Bike.

Looks like my dream of owning a CBR300R in near future is effectively culled. When the new model is launched globally Honda is doing a step motherly treatment by called the CBR 250 as new by adding few stickers. No mechanical change or improvement compared to old CBR

Hopeless guys at Honda strategy. Shame on you.

For updates, both the motorcycles get new paint jobs and decals. There are no styling changes to the bikes. Neither of the bikes gets any mechanical updates either.

When the whole Country was anxiously waiting for the CBR 300 or at least the 250R with the dual headlamps, they come out with this! What a wasted opportunity and an ugly, unwanted addition to otherwise good looking bikes! Thank god they did not add any mathematical symbols to the names!

Looking at the only positive I can think of, as an existing CBR250 owner, I don't have to worry about spares availability yet!

Honda, thank you for following your ex-girlfriend - Hero Motocorp!

Cant believe that they think even in today's day and age they can call something an upgrade with just decals.

Disappointed with Revfest overall. Not sure if it served the purpose.

Also think that Honda are playing it safe with the CBR250. It must be selling well enough so that Honda think they can release a re-stickered one and call it 'New'. Maybe they don't see too much incremental revenue by releasing the CBR300.

I second Added_flavor. I was eagerly waiting for the launch of the faired cbr300r so that I can replace my ageing pulsar 180. But very disappointed with the turn of the events.

Only fools can call something new by adding stickers to it. Looks like Honda guys are a bunch of fools with no pulse of the market. They think the market will buy whatever they dish out as new. Shame on you Honda

I was eagerly waiting for the 300 or atleast the twin headlamp 250 but these guys disappointed me.

A pre-owned cbr250r makes more sense. I however liked the hornet. Looks quite fresh.

Re: Honda gives CBR 150R, CBR 250R new colours, decals for 2015

Yeah, this was such a bad idea. Honda pulled a Yamaha. But technically the R15's new decals looked WAY better.

As someone who just bought a tricolor CBR250R I thought I was going to be a little dejected if the new 250R ( the twin headlamp model is more powerful as well ) or the 300R showed up. But considering Honda pulled this stunt, I'm quite happy. Not relieved, but happy.

Not to mention like added_flavor said, there won't be any spare parts issue for a long time to come.

I still think that Honda will release the 300R here as part of their 15 bikes a year thing. But you know, wishful thinking.
