Fuel-injection coming to the Royal Enfield Himalayan

A RE event in scheduled in Jaipur to do with the Himalayan.
People were expecting an engine upgrade, but thats not it.
New colour schemes and accessories are rumoured to be on display.

We completed the Jaipur-Pushkar run of 148-odd Km in 80 minutes flat and then I had a lengthy chat with my fellow rider (Himalayan BS IV) on that above run- and here are his state & national highway average numbers.
@65-75Kmph average is about 34-35Km/L
@110Kmph average is about 29-30km/L

Top speed was about 140-145kmph.

Is there a new variant of Himalayan coming up or just the new color being released? RE website has mentioned an event coming up on Jan 12.

@TorqueyTechie it is just supposed to be the new color "inspired" by the fall of snow in Himalayas.

Sadly, I heard that there's no ABS on it this time again.
IMHO, the first RE bikes with ABS would be the 600/650 Twins.

Give me a himalayan with ABS and i am almost sold. Reduce some 15kg and i will book one immediately. i like the new sleet but have decided not to buy any bike without ABS. :(

Absolutely my case! Although apart from ABS, I would love a bit more power.
RE already has Himalayan with ABS for Europe markets. Why not give us an option at atleast?
