Best option for anybody buying a bigger capacity RE is to wait for the AVL 500. It'll not replace the AVL 350 but is a replacement for CI500. A friend has ridden it extensively and was very much impressed with the performance of the machine.

When launched the OTR price will be slightly above the lac. A bit more expensive than the CI500.

If you don't want a bigger capacity RE then your choices are TBird, Machismo, Electra, STD350. Out of these i'd recommend a Machismo or Electra in that order.

am bit of an old school guy...buy a std bull 350 (manufactured between 1980-1986). Heard that was the best batch. dont know why. . but thats what i have heard.

I called up the showrrom in Jayanagar yesterday, it looks like none of the dealers have got Machismo in stock now (already checked with teknic motors on CMH road).
They are waiting for new Machismo to come, the one with ES (fully loaded); they are expecting it to arrive by May 15,
Does anyone has an idea on which dealer to go with? I guess we have got 3 dealers in Bangalore as of now.

Guys,
I had been to Agro (RE dealer @ mission Rd) today. They told me that the new Machismo may not arrive so soon. It may take a month or more than that while RE Brand showroom guy told me that it will be avaialble by May 15 and all the new modesl will be with ES; he has got about 8 bookings as of now for Machismo. I spoke to Farooq at Agro and he told me that other dealers do not have Machismo is stock as of now.

I'm not a big fan of ES and not really behiend it, However I'd like to have Tacho and fuel gauge on the bike (like one they hv with TB) if the new Machismo will have these features, I'd rather wait. otherwise I cant wait any more and will go ahead and get the one (old) that is available with Agro folks.
Can anyone of you confirm whether the new Machismo will come with tacho and fuel gauge?? What would you guys suggest! to go with the available old model or wait for the new one!!!!!
