Note - Interceptor 650 considered under 'Superbikes & Imports' as per current forum classification.

Thread moved out from the Assembly Line. Thanks for sharing!

Bajaj: Platina & Pulsar 150 continue to show healthy numbers; has v12 production stopped? Interesting to see numbers across calendar year for some models like Avanger 220, Discover 100; high in beginning and tapered drastically now.

Honda: Unicorn 160, is it time to discontinue? Hornet 160 shows good numbers anyways.

Kawasaki: Will Versys650 & Vulcan S see production next year? I wonder if Versys 300-X will see double-digit dispatches across entire 2018.

Mahindra: Jawa numbers are more than Mojo. How come pre-production numbers are seen as dispatches or these 8 units actually reached showroom(s) & end-customers?

RE: Row for 650 twins got copied from TB500 row above, should be corrected. 325 is good start for RE, would be interesting to watch what would be steady numbers for these twins.

TVS: I was expecting RR310 numbers to increase after high pricing of BMW. Would have been interesting if we would have had BMW motorrad numbers.

All super-bike imports would show very healthy, high numbers in December due to discounts.

Why is Dominar down to sub 200 units? RE 650 impact (shouldn't be the case as the price difference is quite high)? Should not have been such a big disaster.

Superbike numbers should be consumed with a pinch of salt as the Dealers tend to buy them from the OEM in batches. In one month, one model could be high and in the next month, some other model would jump. These numbers should be looked on YTD basis.

I can't believe that Z900 is selling in spades! Crazy indeed.

Confused, This data shows that the 650 twins are being dispatched since January.

Yes this might include the exports, but the bike was only launched in October even for the international market!! 9 months shipping period does seem a bit too much.

Also, is there a way we can separate the 650 Twins into GT and Interceptor.

Thank you. Have sent the updates to a moderator requesting him to correct the same.

Agreed. A more detailed monthly analysis doesn't make sense IMO as well.

However, the top sellers list do reveal a general trend - Most of the bikes in that list are pretty consistent performers - its the ones that sell even less that are dispatched in batches.

RR310 seems to have hit a low as well!

Honda has to worry that Ntorq is consistently growing at the expense of Grazia

Corrected info on the 650 twins. Dispatched from last month and 325 units is the starting number.

No way to separate unless company reports the data as such and the same is picked up by Autopunditz.
