Karizma Cold Start Problem

Vapor lock due to the tank cap? These used to happen to RX's but usually happens while running and not at cold starts.

Jaggu is right vapor lock happens due to heat & not cold & yes it very much happens on a Karizma. The only way out is to open the tank cap & close it.

Hi, i got a relatively new karizma with only 500km on the odo, initially i didnt have any problem, but after 2000kms i experienced a jerky ride, cold start and so on. then i started cleaning the carb, air filter, and finally broke the air screw, and replaced with new one , cold start persists, but what i found was, start with choke for few seconds and then it is ok. ride for few meters, it is fine.

looks like a lean tune to me. try richening the mixture by a turn or two.
