Bikewale article also looks like a clickbait to me, just for the sake of views. But if it is anything like a downsized version of CB1100 then I need to start saving money from today itself. Anyways in less than a day, we will get to see what it is.

Yes you are right. If the looks are maintained & engine is downsized,I feel it may be a good bike to look forward & a good competitor in the segment.

So, one thing is now clear: H'ness is not a Rebel series product but it is from CB legacy.

Between Rebel and CB, I would prefer a CB.

It is looking more and more like a damp squib. It will be a mass market 300 cc churning out 25 bhp of power and be boring in its performance. It will grab a substantial chunk of Royal Enfield's market because Honda. But it will leave enthusiasts disappointed and feeling awful that we wasted so much of mental bandwidth on this!

Watch the launch live here, tomorrow 11:30 AM -

I really doubt this, the CB series is not as 'macho' or as 'butch' as the Classic 350, at least from the perspective of RE fanbase. This bike will compete more with Imperiale and Jawa 42. And Honda will not bother about enthusiasts as long as they are make the mulah with commuter bikes, why should they when they are closing the gap with Hero in terms of sales with these Activas and Shines.

On an other note, with this launch, I guess Honda intends to bring some footfall to the Big Wing showrooms.

Super excited from the tomorrow's unveil of this CB. Make it a looker and it will do wonders and hopefully shake up the Bullet territory for the benefit of the entire biker's community.

Not so long ago Honda India had a 300 cc CB in its portfolio, which was recently discontinued (or might come back in bs6 avatar).

So I doubt they will launch another CB 300.
if it is a 500 cc bike, considering the price of CB 300, this bike's price might be more than 3 lakhs.

Can you post a pic of which Honda CB300 was it? I have a feeling that you are talking about CB300R and that is not the same as the non-R version.

Not even couple of hours to launch and surprising to see that we hardly no anything about this new bike.

Makes me wonder if this is going to be a virtual unveiling of the brand and the pricing/actual showroom arrivals and deliveries are few weeks away.

This way Honda can start building brand excitement and also hold the pricing card until RE makes the move with meteor.

Yes I am talking about the 300R, and I assume you are talking about the 300F, not much of a difference between the two. 300F is lighter and has different riding ergonomics, no other major difference.

Does not make sense for Honda to launch two similar 300 cc bikes.
But might make sense if they plan to not bring the 300r back.
Well, let's wait till 11.30 and find out.:)

I am not talking about 300F either. And it shouldn't be 300r as well. Listen to the exhaust note on the teaser videos and you will know how far both 300r and f are from it. It is going to be a retro looking non-cruiser bike.

Zigwheels article mentions the name 'CB 350 EX'. This name looks cooler than 'HNess'. That name will be apt for a RE Classic challenger too. Hope Honda doesn't price it way too high.

Thanks for sharing this link. So that's the bike outline, and my heart is racing now
