Honda CB300F offered with a Rs 64,000 discount!

A price correction has been made by a Hyderabad dealer.

It's virtually the same thing which happened to the Yamaha FZ-S 250 or whatever that contraption of a machine is named.

This should've been the introductory price with an increase in price later on. But typical Honda, always does the opposite!
I was strongly considering this bike but had to go with some other bike just because of its unfair price.

Hi saitvsk23,

Any idea whether this updated price be implemented by Honda across all dealerships in India or is it dealer-specific.

Currently, the ex-showroom price for this bike is at Rs. 2,25,900 and Rs. 2,28,900 for the DLX and DLX PRO models respectively in Hyderabad.

I think it'll take time for the website to show updated prices if it's globally implemented by Honda. Else, it'll be dealer specific discounts.

The Honda way of selling bikes. Launch it in such a way that even Honda loyalists will ignore and than do a price correction to save dealers from embarrassment of not able to clear the stock

Jokes apart, this should have been the launch price. Would have sold in good numbers.

Hi there. I hope it will be a pan-Indian move because of all the stock that's been sitting at their dealers, that has to be moved out at some point of time.

Bangalore price shared by the dealer (lavalle Road showroom).
Edit: the dealer says it is an offer and not price correction. May be for a limited period of time or Honda marketing team wants to achieve the sales target for 2022.

Bookings had begun quite some time ago. I dont know if the local dealership got any. Like you, I too am yet to spot a single CB300F in Cochin. With the revised prices, I think that will soon change.

Re: Honda CB300F launched at Rs. 2.26 lakh

Confirmed this with Honda Bigwing North Bangalore- they said price is down to under 2.38L OTR as opposed to 2.88L. This is a limited time offer for December only for now. Quite tempted, but need to know if the bike itself is a worthwhile product- time for a test ride.

Only problem- I come from a bike that I feel is hard to upgrade from a value perspective (a P220). I feel most of the current offerings in the 250-300cc segment aren't worth the delta between them and the 220. The CB300F came closest, along with the V Strom 250.

Re: Honda CB300F offered with a Rs 64,000 discount!

Honda CB300F offered with a Rs 64,000 discount - Posts moved to a new thread.

This is the third Honda BigWing product that has seen massive price reductions in 2022. Started with the CB500X with a massive 1.1L reduction on the CB500X (https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motor...0ex%2Dshowroom (Honda CB500X prices slashed by INR 1.1 lakh)) in February 2022, an unheard of 10L price cuts on the CBR 1000RR-R (https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/super...s-10-lakh.html (Honda CBR1000RR-R price slashed by Rs. 10 lakh)) in April 2022, followed by the 64k discount on the CB300F now.

What makes matters worse is that all three were new products in the market - the CB300F launched only few months back in August.

Re: Honda CB300F offered with a Rs 64,000 discount!

Interesting, I am tempted to add one to the garage, but I am more inclined to 250SX for local city rides. SX250 still sounds a bit more tempting as it will help me go offroad too.

I hope honda wakes up and does price correction across the portfolio of bigwing, such competent products but grossly overpriced.

Hehe, will you be able to identify one correctly if it passes by on the road? Unless stationary and you look at it keenly, it will be very difficult to actually identify it given how ordinary it looks. One important aspect for the bike to not to sell in numbers in this case.

Does these discounts mean that it might be discontinued ? I would stay away if that might be the case. Also this looks too 200 like that Honda already has.

Fun fact : The Hornet 2.0, whose looks have been inspired from for the CB300F, is not even an actual 200cc. Its jus 186cc marketed and positioned as a 200cc rival. That too with pretty underwhelming spec figures.

That never struck me. Good observation. They may be trying to do stock clearance. The discount may be from dealer side alone.
