1. Potential battery drainage due to Bluetooth Module
2. Water ingress causing rust around fuel cap
3. Lack of readily available bodyguard in market. Either install expensive aftermarket ones or risk damage to parts that are difficult for Yamaha dealers to source, if damaged.
4. Some riders find footwell area cramped. Tall riders may also brush their knees.
5. Braking performance is not satisfactory. Rear brakes could have been discs instead of drums at this price point

I am not considering the presence of spine as a problem area (Because that is visible to the buyer)

I personally feel, that instead of viewing Aerox as a scooter, if one can see it as a bike without gears, along with added practicality of decent underseat storage and good performance, It may become more attractive.

1. That bluetooth module is useless. You can disconnect it at delivery and leave it.
2. This is something i have not heard of.
3. Body guards are available but they are ugly. Secondly they mount on the body and not the frame so even a small hit or bump you damage the locks and body. The entire color panels of the aerox cost 9000 change which is cheap. A good insurance should cover the initial years in terms of replacement.
4. Not great for tall riders. I am 5.11 havemt faced any issues.
5. A small caliper upgrade on the front works wonders. Aftermarket rear disk is available but now after the TCS update this urgrade will mean you lose the TCS function which is anyway overrated on a 155cc scooter.

Should be the first of its kind in India i assume.
Interesting build for a scooter. Do elaborate on the parts being upgraded, and how they would improve form and function.
How and where are you sourcing the parts from?

Thank you.
Happy motoring.
