I've faced this issue multiple times but it auto reconnects all the time. Anyways, I've stopped using the inbuilt navigation now.

Even I am facing connectivity issues. The app is still buggy. In the app, the data doesn’t get refreshed and it still shows the distance covered and fuel capacity as of few days ago. Just hoping it’s fixed with an update.

Re: Harley-Davidson X440 Review

I got the first service done today in a hero service centre. Costed me 2762rs in total and I had asked them not to use polish/wash the bike and not to lube the chain as well.
The service was done in 2 hours.

It’s working fine now with the new version of the app
Thanks for sharing the information on the windshield. I got it installed at the same place.
Bike seems complete now except for the angular handlebar raisers!

Re: Harley-Davidson X440 Review

Got the HD official backrest installed on Saturday in Bangalore from Hero Premia on Hosur Road. I was waiting for this one for a long time. It looks fine. Cost is Rs 2300 gave the showroom guy Rs 200 extra tip for installing as they did not charge any labour. Total amount spent Rs 2500. Was speaking to the installer and he confirmed that the rear seat nut becoming loose over time is something they have noticed and I am seeing the same happen on my bike too. Also checked out the Maverick but it does not look that great when parked next to Harley .

Posting few pictures of the he backrest installed.on my bike with regular seat and one in showroom display bike with touring seat . Most of the other accessories they were installing , which are not coming from Harley were of Royal customs,

Thanks Dushie for sharing this. The accessories get sold out pretty quickly in that outlet. This particular store also sells the X440 accessories made by a third party (Royal Customs) and I had to opt for their top box rack and back rest combo unit as the official accessories weren’t available 3 weeks ago.
Is there a Bangalore WhatsApp group for X440 owners since I see you are also from Bangalore?

Re: Harley-Davidson X440 Review

Took the plunge and booked S variant. It was a tough decision among Triumph Scrambler 400X, Honda CB350 and HD X440. After multiple test drives, reviewing endless threads, opinions, feedbacks, it was time to pick one and x440 is the final choice.

Loved the relaxed ride, thump and feel of riding a much larger bike to what it is. Build quality is acceptable but not in league of Triumph or Honda. Booked at Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson in Ahmedabad. They've quite a few S variants in stock. Delivery in 2-3 days once RTO process is complete. No accessories in stock other than backrest. No firm update on when they'll receive next stock. Planning to go for after market or try from Hero dealer, if they've it. Looking forward to ride the beast.

Liked the windshield , what brand and make it is also kindly share the cost of the same. Is the quality good? Currently I have the original one which is a bit small and wind blast is pretty high on higher speeds.

If you intend to use the bike for many years, you should 100% take it for peace of mind. And in case you want to sell the bike after some years, the long remaining warranty period would fetch a bit more price. So overall, very much worth it IMO. If you feel the 10 year scheme is an overkill, go for the 8 year one.

I have the same feeling for the stock windshield and didn’t install it. The one, I have installed is from MotoCare and it’s a height adjustable one. Costed around 1.5k but solves the purpose. You can cruise all day in 90-100 with a full face helmet.
