My friends’ and my first reaction to this was, ‘What the hell is this?’ followed by some head-scratching.

Aside from the polarizing looks and diluted brand image, what exactly does this do that other 125cc commuters don’t already do?

People shopping for 125CC bikes have good choices. The design/ looks vary from conservative ( Shine SP 125 ) -> good looking ( TVS Raider 125 ) -> wacky / futuristic ( Bajaj / Hero).

The resemblance of NS125 to Xtreme125R is really something.
