Honestly a great addition considering the lcd display on the old 250 was quite downmarket. The 250 basically looks like the X with the 250 mill. KTM has tried to cover all the bases this time. It can be a really solid option if they can price it decently. Now to wait for the Indian launch and media ride.

My concerns too. With an full year unsold inventory and full blown crisis, will there be any discounted sale of big bikes?

The specs launched yesterday was keeping the European market in mind,supposedly. The specs for the S version that is specific to India will be formally revealed for India today, says a birdie. But going by the weird behavior of KTM India, this could take more days. Also, disappointed with the 14L fuel tank as the newDuke itself gets a 15L tank. Fingers crossed for the Indian specs reveal.

If priced right, this can make the TVS RTX 300 a DOA. A 30 bhp touring machine that can become a capable offroading tool with tyre swap from its 390 siblings.

Car & Bike guys unveiled some of the specs is the regular variant which is going to be called the 390 adventure, yesterday. 21/17 setup with 835mm seat height. And it has tubeless spokes according to them. Wonder if Bajaj has been caught up in the tubeless certification drama like RE.

Personally, for me, I am going to sell my gen-3 Duke 390 and get the Ceramic White Adventure 390
I have waited a long time and everything seems great. Kerb weight of 183kg with fuel, albeit a 14.5L tank. Disappointing for an "Adventure" bike. Also, even though they have mentioned "Tubeless spoked wheels", all the photos seem to indicate tubed spoked wheels on tubeless tyres, like the last generation Adventure 390 SW.
Nevertheless, can't wait to see the price and make a calculated decision.

I wouldn't be too sure about the TFT display on the X. Their website is full of errors.

Edit: It has the TFT as confirmed in the brochure.

The X is really good but cruise control and the IMU features are what I am looking at for an upgrade. Hope there is some dealer level swap allowed to get the X rims and tyres on the Std version

What I really like is the 825mm /830MM saddle height. 830MM saddle height with a 21" front is rare. I think if priced right, this can turn KTM's fortune!

KTM might or might not launch the R in India but the spare resellers have already got their hands on the R spec 230mm travel forks. I guess they are acquiring it from the OE parts vendors. This might end up being a popular upgrade for the hardcore trail junkies.

The specs seem to be impressive as this is a generation update of the old adv 390 totally. The bike is gonna be in its element off the roads for sure and touring will be effortless too. Only grouse is the same fuel tank size of 14.5L and assuming it will be e20 compliant, 400+ range will be difficult but it’s still decent in my opinion. Expecting ex showroom pricing around 3.6-3.8L��
