Deliveries have started in Bangalore.
Waiting period quoted by the Sai premia dealer was 30 days.
Some folks have already completed 1st service.

The deliveries of Xpulse have begun. The pre-bookings that were taken by RT Krishna in Bangalore, are being fulfilled. However, I don't think the deliveries for folks that have done online booking has even started. The day I test rode at Singasandra (28-March) saw the first Xpulse 210 delivery.

Re: 2025 Hero Xpulse 210 Review

Great review! I recently borrowed an Xpulse 2004V from a friend and went to a short ride on different roads of Hyderabad. The way it took care of speed breakers, potholes, cobblestones and the extended speed breakers of Techridge (lanco hills) amazed me. I fell in love with it because of the comfortable suspension and way it ate up the unexpected bumps and potholes when I missed to slow down on unknown roads. Highway cruising is fine for me as I ride mostly between 80-100. Then Hero launched the 210 and looking at this review, it seems that going for 210 is the better and sensible option as I plan to keep it longer. Kindly suggest if its better to go for the base variant and spend on a better helmet, jacket, gloves and boots or stretch the budget a bit and go for the top variant? Thanks in advance.

In my option go for the Top variant since the delta is under rs15k onroad price. I estimate that a better helmet and other bike gears won't be adjusted in this amount. For starters, keep aside about rs30k for buying bike gears (of which begin with Helmet, Gloves, Boots, Jacket, Protection pads - in that order).
I too am planning to buy this in a years time.
Hope this helps.

Base variant does not have dual-channel ABS. It is a must a have for those frequenting the highways. The additional 15-20k is worth it , esp. if you plan to keep the bike longer.

Re: 2025 Hero Xpulse 210 Review

Xpluse 210 looks like a vehicle made post lot of feedbacks from existing 2004v customers and keeping in mind how to address a bigger customer pool. With all the reviews available it looks like an all rounder not only for off roading but even for daily usage.

Keeping aside the knuckle guards, tall visor, luggage rack, it does completely make sense to go for the higher variant just for the sake of dual channel ABS, which is a must for the added safety like you already mentioned. Even I've started saving for the 210 and the riding gear. Thanks again! Cheers to many miles.!!

Yes sir! The ABS is a life saver on any road. That's the plan, indeed, to get the higher variant because Xpulse would be utilized for the long rides with friends or solo rides and the long visor comes handy along with added ABS. As I already have an Activa for the short runs, a Micra for the office and long commutes. So the plan is to keep the Xpulse long until there's is an itch to upgrade to a bigger machine down the line

What engine does it use? Is it Honda lineage or something developed in house?

I don't think there's a Hero engine that is not of Honda lineage. This one is apparently from Honda's CRF230.

It is an all new liquid cooled egine from Hero. Last gen 200 had it's roots in the Impulse/unicorn/Xtreme motor Afaik. The CRF230 engine was the Karizma engine.

It's not all-new; it is the same engine from the XMR, which is derived (over-squared, liquid cooled, etc.) from the ZMR and the old Karizma, which is the same engine from the CRF.

Not really. The current liquid cooled ZMR/Xpulse 210 engine has nothing do with the old air cooled 223 engine which found it's place in old ZMA, ZMR and later Ugly ZMR twins. This is an all new motor from Hero. They ditched the old 223 way back. I've owned a ZMA for a while. That engine was detuned from CRF230L.

FYI, old 223 had a bore & stroke of 65.2 x 66.6mm. The LC 210 has a bore & stroke of 73 x 50mm. Vastly different engines. Not to mention the water jackets for LC, lack of fins, and completely different construction. I mean, just look at them side by side

The 210 has been in the XMR since '23. They seem to have kept the 230 until '19.

This could be a Theseus' Ship situation, but I for one am not convinced with the usage of 'all-new' for this engine. The differences you mention is why I used the word 'derived' in the previous post. Begin with a(n almost) square engine to make more power, you can either increase stroke and torque or increase RPM- the latter suits a sport bike better. So, an over-squared, liquid cooled one it is, making room for a second cam as well. With liquid cooling, fins/no fins is basically a design choice. If different cylinder dimensions make an all-new engine, then the XPulse 200 is arguably all-new just as well (57.3 x 58.7 vs 66.5 x 57.5). So would be most of Honda's slew of Motorcycles under the same family. If we're talking engine construction, Honda's CRF 250L looks an awful lot similar- took me just vague searches with Hero's parts to stumble upon this bike.

I can't see how this is not of Honda's lineage.

Re: 2025 Hero Xpulse 210 Review

Great to learn about engine design from discussions.
However I am yet to see a 210 on Bangalore road. Have they not started delivering these bikes/ or were there not enough booking from Bangalore.
