just wait till they are on road in a good number before you put down all that cash for the bike!

it sure looks awesome but still needs to prove itself!

Flame retails for around 49750 OTR Chennai. I dont think the bike is out in Jaipur . Its quite a nice bike, looks great, performance to match other bikes, and decent FE too. Wait for a while, test ride the bike, and then decide

The flame has got superb built and has got outstanding looks. I am thinking of swithcing over from Hero Honda splendor to a bike which has self starting. I have short listed Baja XCD 125 SI , Yamaha Gladiator, TVS flame. Hai friends ! Can you please suggest me which is a better bike amongst these. The looks of TVS flame is tempting. But I do not know about its performance ?

Can anyone post their experience please!

If u want to be safe then go for the regulation xcd or maybe even the Yamaha as reviews of these motorcycles are present at the moment. In case of the TVS wait a while before you see a few of them on the road. The specs of the TVS are pretty good compared to others, reliability for TVS scooters is also proven, but not too sure if i can say the same for TVS motorcycles.

SC has restricted TVS from taking new bookings for the Flame. But TVS has permission to honour the current bookings they have.

Came in Hindu today.

TVS motorcycles are much better as compared to Bajaj. And TVS has been making good motorcycles for more than a decade. I own 1998 Shaolin and I haven't had a single major problem till date and stock engine is still going strong. My friend had 1997 shogun that he sold in 2006 and it was one great bike. My brother own TVS Apache for 1.5 years and not even a minor problem till date. I trust TVS bikes for their reliability - they looked mediocre before Apache - with Apache, looks also are amazing.

sad new:(

IMO, flame looks better than XCD.
Why TVS has a low reputation in terms of trust of buyers?
i asked few friends of mine, they all said to look for hero honda & bajaj ONLY.

TVS has very bad repution here in my town atleast
